But your fictional writing ought to be your priority; if you want to really succeed at getting published you have to devote yourself to it. I have a feeling that you already know this :-P I used to take two-week breaks after finishing a full "Part" of my novel; usually after working weeks of 10-18 hour days (well, it's a LONG book lol). During these breaks I'd enjoy my other entertainments and hobbies before plunging back into it. This was before I discovered the addiction of anime though, so maybe it would be a bit harder to extract myself and resume my Work now!
