Thanks for the feedback. I'm well aware of the worst-case scenario, but the side blog is just a fun diversion for me. And it's literally not going to be time consuming (unlike, say, CCY's saimoe blog). Don't worry, I have my priorities straight :P

FWIW, part of my reason for not posting that stuff here is because I really want to go all-out with it. I'm not necessarily trying to "clean" this site and write only perfect posts for it (a la Bateszi's Afterimage and main blog), but it might lead to some confusion if I alternate between pure fanboy gushing and various thoughts and commentary. But at the end of the day, I'll really just have to see how it goes.

Wew Wew blogs! Not really sure what you're going to post over there, but I'm subscribed anyhow ^^

I somewhat agree with Jesus159159159 about posting here rather than a sideblog, but I don't suggest doing such a thing if you want slight separation without config.

A greater idea, if you can find a plugin that works, is using Categories. (ie. http://wordpress.org/extend/plugins/advanced-category-excluder/ ) See with Category exclusion you can post to a specific category without it feeding into the main blog or feed. You can even give the category it's own feed. That's a way to separate the content.

If you want entirely separate theming though, a separate blog is a good choice. The power is in your hands ^^

Hmm, if I were you (but I'm not you, but I'm gonna say it anyway), I would just post the moe-content on this blog as well. It seems like you'll be pretty busy with University/School stuff, and some people (well, some people I know) with multiple blogs tend to think "oh no! I haven't blogged on my side blog for awhile! I should update that right now! OH NO!!! I FORGOT TO BLOG FOR MY MAIN SITE AS WELL!!! Which should I do first?!?! If only both blogs were combined so I wouldn't have to worry about this!"

Also, you can use this opportunity to reel in some readers! For instance, everyone loves moe, right? (:3) So if I weren't in the mood to read one of your long essays, I could lay back with a cute moe post. In fact, even better (for me at least), I tend to sometimes read only half of a long post, and then come back to it later. I could just read half, take a quick break with a moe-image-post, and then come back. It's a win-win situation Mr. Externalization!

I am interested in your new moe-site, and I know it's just a passive site that will be easy to maintain, but if things get out of hand, I don't want you to true-tire yourself out. You have your main site, the moe site, and the Sepia Project (which I've been waiting patiently for) to worry about. Add school to that equation and you have a lot of things not getting done.

I just want you to realize the worse-case-scenario. Lets hope it doesn't happen =3

Thanks for the notice, I'll be checking it out. I can definitely empathize with you on the apps since I've been working on that too.
