Projects

This is a placeholder page. Hooray for listing a bunch of projects while having nothing to link to! Yes, I tend to get ahead of myself, but I haven’t dropped a major project yet. Have a little faith in me, please.

Sepia Tears ~midwinter’s reprise~

An OEL VN that has kinda-sorta been in the works since the summer of 2008, but realistically only started in the summer of 2009 when the artist joined and I started scripting the story into Ren’Py. I’ll link to more information when the game nears completion. It should be around 5 hours long – two sittings, ideally – and it’s a love story that’s similar to every love story you’ve ever seen in visual novels, except different. The staff members are people you might have seen in the blogosphere.

Other Fiction

I write fiction, kinda, but I’m keeping those links secret for now because there’s nothing I want to share at the moment. I came up with the idea for a light novel series during the summer of 2009 called Ephemeral Wings. It’s somewhat like True Tears, which is a shame because I need to find a way to make it different. I’ll link to stuff when I revise the first volume and write the second one. In my head, the series is supposed to be six volumes long, each one being approximately 50k words. Depending on how it goes, I might get serious about this, find an illustrator, and advertise a bit online.

Fan Translation

Nothing here yet. I started studying Japanese in the 2010-2011 school year so it’ll take a while before I can translate by myself. In the meantime, I took a peek at AegisSub and I’ll do what I can to edit/TL check stuff on TL Wiki. I don’t expect to get into manga scanlation because I’m terrible with Photoshop.

Rhythm Game Notecharts

They don’t exist yet, unfortunately. I finished around 5 of them, and I’m aiming for 10; five Stepmania charts and five for IIDX/O2Mania. The songs are selected from various corners of anime fandom, but I have to choose songs that are rhythmically complex enough to be fun to play. The charts are meant for people who know how to play rhythm games because easy charts are as boring to write as they are to play.
